Constant Tension Winch

Category: Marine Winch

The marine constant tension winch is a machine which is used to achieve a constant line-pull set by the operator. We delivers various models of constant tension winches where either the line-pull is measured by a load cell (high end CT winches) or by the software in our frequency converters (light CT winches, electrical driven).

If the actual value differs from the preset value the winch will pay in or pay out wire rope to maintain the preset value. Instant adjustment of the cable tension is possible by changing the tension setpoint value. CT winchesare normally delivered with a pull from 5~40 t. Other models on request.
